HU that doesn't skip

I just put a couple 18's in a friends explorer and he needs a new hu. It skips when you turn it up with the windows closed . It's not to bad with the windows down though . What do you guys suggest ?

I haven't had issues with my Alpine W200. Also, back when I used my Eclipse 8443 I never had issues. The 8443 switches tracks so fast, unlike the W200.
