HU standby power consumption/car ground vs amplifier

always make sure power is off when undoing or moving connections. This will help you from killing the rca output from the stereo. As for hearing the engine through the speakers there is a lot of causes and fixes for that. Check the ground loop sticky. Does the engine come through the speakers when the amp when it is not mounted?

Well my question isn't about solving the engine sound in speakers, I just replaced the player and problem disappeared. My question is about amp mounting to not encounter this again. Can I mount it directly on the table ? Its radiator will get - from car ground, would be any problem ? Are them designed to work like that ?

I solved both problems. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

For 1st, 361SD "Complete switched off (pushing SRC button for a few seconds) uses 6,5mA" was the answer from Kenwood company so it won't drain my battery.

And for 2nd I used some plastic screws and parquet foil to avoid the contact of amp with the ground.
