hu skipping problems

i have a 2000 toyota celica-gts i have tried many different headunits and no matter what i do they always skip. They skip because the cd player sits at an angle. i normally hold the hu at comps and i use my ipod when driving daily but i was wondering if there was any way to maybe support it better to absorb some of the vibration. i currently have put small stripps of roadkill on the deck put foam under the deck between the hu and eq there is also a backstrap on the hu as well. i dont know what else to do does anyone have any other ideas. i dont know what else to do and i have bought 3 different headunit and they all do the same thing so its not the hu.

how about ripping out the mounting bracket and either using another mounting bracket or Iso-mounting.
