If so, there are no real "pros" or "cons" to it...just personal preference as to what you like to use your system for. If you mostly listen to two channel stereo music, you won't need to invest as much in a 5.1 or 7.1 surround setup as someone who doesn't listen to music but watches a lot of DVD's.

hehe, i still have a lot invested in mine. i almost got mcintosh stuff, but the dealer was too arrogant for my taste, so i ordered all my stuff and installed it myself.
