ht and car. who else has gone back and forth?

i started with car audio with my 1st car right out of high school. then after that car went to the junkyard i put the same equipment into the next car. then after i crashed that car the next car wasn't worthy of a system so i ventured into home audio and HT, and put together a pretty nice setup. then i got the car i have now and slowly did this install. and now that i'm done and satisfied with the car, i'm back to home audio and HT again.

i just put together a sealed test sub-box to see what i have to work with for in room freq response. i will be building a nice enclosure and getting heavily back into the HT scene again.

anybody else keep going back and forth between the two?

Right with you on thathome theater when i was like 12 haha, truck during highschool, the home theater, then truck when my first system went to hell. I enjoy both so much!

You're in a controlled static environment. Of course it is. Cars you have variation of altitudes, pressure levels, humidity, and a laundry list of other variations.

In any given room in your house, these things do change, but very slightly and very slowly.

That's why car audio is such a fickle bitch.
