hows power acoustic or profile?

alright what does everyone think about profile's amps? and what about power acoustik? if you guys have any other suggestions lmk. i want the amp to do at least 600 watts rms x1 @4 ohm or 300 rms x2 @4 ohm for under $150.

another question how do profile and power acoustik compare to sony amps? SQ, build, durability? the reason i ask is i have a sony 1200 and im happy with it but my friend wants it. and that means i can upgrade.

heres what ive found. Also i am running 2 10" kicker CVR 4 ohm DVC subs they handle 300 rms is it ok to give them more than that continuously? and if so will it hurt them?

hmm i would go a slightly different route if i was looking so save money

AURA RPM2300 2x150W -540 watts RMS x 1 (4 ohm bridged mono) $99.88 @ parts express.

but i can also say my brother has a power acoustic lt amp and its worked fine for a year now.

so you suggest the aura? how are they compared to profile and power accoustic's? i like that price. ill check it out.

im leaning towards either the power accoustik lt or the profile. i really like that it has a remote bass switch and that it is so cheap. do any of these subs do their rated power?

and my question is would these amps be a step up or down from my sony in quality SQ and build? i have heard alot of bad things about sony but i like it and i would like to know if profile and power acoustik are in the same league or better?

my main question now is do these amps do their rated power? and which company is better profile or power acoustik?

i already have the subs madaudio. i got 2 kicker cvr 10"s i thought i mentioned that above.

i cant speak about the profile or the power acoustic but desertheat the resident aura guru said that aura rated their amps the same way cea amps are rated now

Here is a gut shot of the 2150 as well. Also a stellar little amp. Do not let the s/n fool you, it was rated the way cea rates stuff now and 85 is freakin great cea.

@ $99 each you guys are fools not to jump on these if your in the market for a semi budget amp. These babies are good stuff!

but having to choose between profile and power acoustic i would choose power acoustic simply because my brother has one and it has worked fine

im now leaning towards the power acoustik LT1920. that way i wont have to bridge the amp and still get plenty of power. and later on if i upgrade subs i can just bridge them. idk i still have to make sure my friend wants to buy my sony then it will be out with the old and in with the new.

definitely get rid of that sony before it literally "xplodes". but profile amps do their rated power and im pretty sure power acoustiks are a little overrated. personally i would go with the profile.

why not a profile ap2000? theyll give 320rms x 2 @ 4ohm. and 960rms x 1 @ 4 ohm

i just got the prices off ebay i havent really searched around but when i was looking for subs the absolute best prices were from ebay so i figured they would be the cheapest.

soul05 i have looked into the ap2000 but i wanted to stay around $150 but i found the guy selling the used one you lmk about so i might grab that one. its still up in the air though i like the looks of the power acoustik lt series and i would rather buy new so idk what im gonna do yet. ill post up when i decide.

I am also looking into getting the Lt1920, as a carry over amp. I have never tried PowerAcoustik, but have heard good things about them, I like the simple look they have also.
