How would you go about this?

Okay my ring terminals I bought are gonna be a ***** to secure onto the wire. The plastic shielding will crack and its very hard plastic so cutting it wont be easy at all. The terminal isnt the crimp type as it doesnt have the line down the middle and soldering will melt the plastic. Really at a loss of what to do.

insert wire, crimp with a vice, then remove the plastic, which should then just slide off, and finally, solder the connection

Edit: I can see the split in the center of the terminal for crimping ...

Its like welded shut. Theres no gap and theres no way it will split open. I have one sitting in front of me and im ripping the jacket off it

if the gap is soldered together, why not just cut it? got a hacksaw? dremel?

Then buy the proper size BIG crimping tool for them...
