How Would a Rockville AMP compare to my old Kicker KX650.4?

I bought two of those Rockville F2 4 channels. They are decent for the money but get really hot and not something I would run on those nice CDT components.

I would run that Kicker amp over any Rockville in a heart beat.

Friend confirmed that 2 channels out of 4 dont work. So, I spoke to Kicker today and they say it's usually about 75-100$ to repair.

That KX series amp are some of the best Kicker amps made in my opinion as well as the ZR series.That amp you have is or should be fan cooled also.It should be under rated also.Most of those KX series were.I ran quite a few and even had an entire Blk KX series amp install.Die hard amps.Fix it and run it

I remember reading long ago when I bought it, that KX"s were amazing. Just didn't know if it could repaired by kicker. A local repair shop wasn't sure exactly what the issue is. Obviously, Kicker will know right away what needs to be fixed.

It depends on which KX series, i think in 03 they went to Chinese made, prior to that, i would tend to agree, but still slightly less than the ZR series. I have an 02 550.3 that was made in the USA, but 04's arent.
