how would a 2004 hyundai santa fe look completely blacked out?

What kind of "mods" are you talking about? At the end of the day, it's a box on wheels...you can make it a quick box on wheels, but you have to wonder how much of that is better spent on something made for going quick in the first place.

Where I live, I can get the a paint job for around $2k and my dad can dye the interior...
But can you get a good paintjob for $2k? The only pplace I've seen with prices like that for a complete color change is Maaco, and nobody in his right mind would let them paint his car. And no matter what you do, it will still be a Santa Fe. You just can't make those badass. My advice would be to sell it and get a nice car to mod up. Especially since we all know these low gas prices won't last long.

look dont get discouraged, sometimes you have to work with what you got. i say paint it black metallic, take apart the headlights and paint the housings (reflector areas not used by the light black to match) tint it out, tint the tails and get a set of black rims. what color is the interior? if it is grey just keep it, but if it is blue definitely dye it. who cares what anyone else thinks. as long as it is yours, and you like it, its all that matters.

i did some searching, and this what i found for ya to think about...
