I have a 2000 mustang coupe and I want to put 2 8 in. L7's in a sealed enclosure(which i will make myself) with a .6 cu. ft. per chamber volume. What I am looking for is fairly accurate bass, reliability, and decent sound quality. They will be pushed by a JBL 600 watt amplifier. My ? to you is am I correct by thinking I will get my expected results with this setup. Also is there anyway I could run 600 watts and only use an 8 gauge power cable. Thankyou for your time.

Yes look at anything else other than an L7 or L5 of any size for sound quality. They are not meant to be sound quality subs, in the right install they can be decent on sound quality but not great. They are mainly spl oriented. As BDIDDY stated, look at the ED 8A. Good sound quality, and not too sure on spl though.
