Bro, you will not get a huge jump in output till you get closer to that true 1K wattage mark. Its really not even worth it. You would be better off sending the polks more, better power. You need a amp that makes power at 2 ohms like the Kicker I showed you last night

crunch ground pounders do rated just fine. if they are being underpowered by a hundred watts or so it won't make much of a difference. obv. they won't reach their full potential but it will sound fine

A hundred watts or so when we are talking about this low of power does make a deal

ok, I don't want to mix sub brands...so is there a JL brand woofer thats 10" that I can get 2 of the replace those polks? I am look for nothing too expensive..idc what year as long as they have the same watt requirement as I do not want to get another amp.....

its not mixing brands its mixing different subs and sizes. and please dont actually pay money for more jl youre shooting yourself in the foot especially because you obviously wanna be loud.

id reccommend getting the jbl (if you must buy something now) and getting the right sub for it when you can then put it in THE CORRECT BOX i cannot stress enough how the box is the most important part of the equation. if youre limited on money and you want to run something off that jbl to be loud id run 1 re se-x 15 or something, you would be happier with it.
