So I'm looking to purchase my interior speakers now that my subs and amp are finally here. My questions are, 1. Are 3 way components sets a good buy or would it be easier/cheaper to piece one together? 2. If I got a 2 way component set while also replacing my 3.5s in the dash would that not be considered a 3 way component system? 3. Would I be able to integrate my rear fill 6x9s into the crossover that comes with the component set? Basically what I'm trying to achieve is loud and clear mids and highs to accompany my 2 18 trunk set up. This is for my 1984 Oldsmobile delta 88 2 door. I only speaker locations for 6c9s in the rear deck and and 3.5s in the top of the dash. I would like to buy universal kick pods from crutchfiled that hold a 6.5" component set. So I would essentially have a pair of 3.5s a pair of 6.5 comps in the kicks and a pair of 6x9s in the rear. I will def. be putting power on these interior speakers. I was looking to run all skar but I have since open my mind to any options. I have a new HU on the way. I decided on the Pioneer DEH-80PRS( just in case this info is needed for any reason). Thanks in advance for any and all help and info.
