how to wire tweeters?

To my AMP (yes, this what I want to do, not from the components)

So..do I wire them to the +L/-R (or watever thing) ...the thing that screws down. Or, do I use this chip-in-clip-in thing that says "High Level Input"

Thanks. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

its a simple question...IF I am to wire tweeters directly to an amp, then do I wire them from the "High Level Input" or from the same ones as subs?

like i said in ur last post!

he is set on useing that amp!!! i think it's funny.....

it would be so mutch less of a hasle just to hook up the tweet's to the head unit w/ bass blockers and have tha amp run the sub. but it seams someone is a little hard headed...

id seggest.

you hook the tweets to the left and right channel of the amp. bridge the bass tube. crank the gain all the way and turn the bass bost. and blow that shit up!!!

cause that's what happens to SHIT... it blow's up.

Seriously. Um...here I will make it like this..

What is the "High level input" For?

How can I wire the tweeters off of 1 - and 1 + output from the battery?

Thanks.

How many watts does that battery put out?

Ok, I'll quit being a jackass. What kind of amp are you using, what kind of tweets, how does the sub come into the mix? LMK.

The high level input is for an already amp driven signal. Even from the head unit, which has a weak amplifier, it is considered a high level signal. The RCA input is a non-driven signal. You can't wire tweeters to an INPUT. You need to invest in some bass blockers, properly set your high pass crossover, and wire the tweeters from the plain *** outputs, just like any other speaker.

Oh, and a high level input is where you run speaker wire from your radio into your amp to give it a signal in lieu of RCAs (like if you were wiring up the amp on a stock system with no rca outs)
