How to tune a woofer.

I know there are a lot of smart people on this board so I am going to start a discussion and hopefully people will add to it.

if you are unable to follow the manufacture specs for enclosure design there are a couple ways to attain good sound and SPL.

if your unable to make your enclosure as large as it needs to be, just tune the box lower for better overall woofer response.

any other tips?
