Depends on the amount of distortion and the DMM used. It could be from 1% to 200% off or even more. There is no way to tell.

What don't you understand, your results will be completely inaccurate. If you want to do that why don't you just sit at your computer and guess how much power your amp is putting out, it's the same thing...

Naw I rather trust a device with something technical. Besides most shops that dont have osillsicope test it that way(they wouldnt tell you that).....

all amp manufactures test the amp output with a o-scope and resistors...not a speaker
