ok about 6 or 7 months ago i decided to touch up my trunk lid with peel and seal.

a couple of months before that i installed a dynamat trunk kit. the trunk kit wasent nearly enough so i opted to just get a small amount of peel and seal to finish the trunk lid.

so today i recieved 50 sq ft of the buytl edead and i cant get the p@s off my trunk lid.

any suggestions??

Brake cleaner is also very adept at removing most/all automotive paints. Try WD 40 and a spatula?

Okay so does that matter on a trunk lid that is going to be covered by sound deadener? I used brake cleaner to remove excess dynamat on my door and saw no discoloration or pain removal.

If you want to go over it that shouldn't be a problem but peel n seal has been know to just fall off in heat or extreme cold. It's your call.

For all the PNS haters //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Heh, I had a bad experience with edead (peel n seel) it just fell off of my trunk lid. So I removed all of it and just used some dynamat extreme that I got for a very good price. I then bought some raamat bxt for my doors; stuff is very reasonably priced and very easy to work with.
