How to remove head unit

I got a 97 mustang and a older kenwood HU. I read some where that i most likely would have to pull out the dash and i tried and the air conditoner came about halfway out and no will not go the **** back in. I dont know why shit has to give me trouble. The air conditioner came out halfway nice and easily but no wont go in for nothing. THe cars a little car and im a tall guy and hard working in the ***** making me all clostophobic and shit trying to move around. Anywayz how do u get the HU out so i can get to the wires in the back.

did you install it? Normally there is 2 ways, taking apart the dash or sliding the unit out of its cage by poping two clips //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

No i didnt install when i got the car it was already installed.
