I tried it before with SS damp before. It's not coming off without a fight. My advice is to leave it on. Or as mentioned above charge the buyer for it.

I am selling my car and have lots of damplifier that is easily reachable and the new owner is not going to need it. Only problem i cant get it off without ripping the tinfoil and making it awful. Any advice? How about using a solvent?

Answer as to why not just keep it in the car? Does the new owner not want it in there? All my deadener is covered and I be god damed if I have to take it out. Like some others mentioned, use it as a selling point to say it lowers road noise and what not.

Hell, I just wouldn't have said anything till it came up.

Does your deadener show everywhere? Only place I have it showing is my rear deck and upper part of the trunk.
