I have a 12" Infinity Reference Series sub in which the rubber surround keeps becoming unglued. Originally when i got the speaker from my brother, the surround was partially unglued from the cone. So I tried repairing it with Gorrilla Glue which held for a good 3 months maybe, then it came undone again. So i tried repairing it with Devcon Rubber Adhesive. It lasted for about a week.
I may not have done the exact procedure correctly: Clean, Roughen, Apply, then Let cure for 5 min, then put two pieces together and let sit for 6 hours. I didnt let it cure for 5 min cause it started to get dry within a couple minutes. So my question is: Is there a special type of glue i should get to reglue the cone and surround?
I've heard that Aleene's Original Tacky Glue works well, but if i can get maybe the same glue that Infinity used to originally make the speakers, that would be golden.
