How to mount my RLP?

Quick question. Just got my 12" RL-p in. Seems pretty sweet. How do I mount it in my box? Jut screw it through the front with drywall screws or something? And another question it comes with like a rubber gasket or something around the outside edge..what is that for? Thanks.

wow um yea screws through screw hole. rubber gasket is so it's air tight against the box

the rubber gasket helps to seal the woofer off in the box you can use some weather stripping to ensure the seal if you like...and yes screw it in the box with drywall screws
