How to mount Head Unit properly from the front?

Hey guys,

just a newbie question. You know in cheaper cars the head units don't have any screws. You're just supposed to remove the DIN cover, connect the cables and push insert the HU inside from the front. Well, this is according to the user manual. The problem is it doesn't hold in place and after several weeks of pressing buttons the head unit just gets pushed inside more and more. So I have to pull it out every month or so.

Can you recommend a different way to mount the head unit? I have this problem in both of my cars, Citroen C3 and a VW Caddy neither of these have rear-mount slots and this drives me crazy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

They need to mounted secure with the provided can and with a strong sturdy backstrap in the back to prevent disc skipping and damaging vibration to the decks delicate electronics .....
But how to secure the can itself? as the car does not have any mounting points in there.

See this vid it's clearly just a big empty din-shaped hole
