How to make my ED 15" louder.

I have an Ov.16.2, and it doesn't sound as loud as it should be. I have a legacy la790 amp, 1200 watt:verymad: POS. and the sub is in a 3 CF sealed box. I think the sub is wired to 4 ohms, and it isn't loud at all. I'm pretty sure its the amp, but any other input would be helpful.

x2 ported will be louder, and amp would be a good help

The sealed enclosure is twice as large as we recommend.

Reduce the box size to 1.5-1.8ft^3 and get an amplifier that puts out clean power.
