How to make an elbow for sonotube?

Just picked up a piece of 8" sono.

Anyone made a bend in this before, or have an idea of how to make one? I do have the space to make a straight pipe, but would much prefer to make it with a 90 degree elbow in it if possible.

I imagine the only way would be fiberglassing/etc but just thought i'd see if there were any easier ways.

yeah, then duck tape the 2 ends together. No, but really, that's a good idea.

Hmm, didn't even think of that. Think it would affect airflow at all? Seems like it'd be a very "abrupt" turn in the port...simliar to a non-45'd slot port.

probably, straight would be more efficient

u could do smaller angles with multiple pieces to get a more gradual bend
