How to install damplifier?

I just recieved my roll of 50 sq ft of damplifier (speedy shipping). I was wondering whats the best way to go about install this. My door have a thin white sheet of plastic on them which I have peeled off. My question is should I get the damplifier in many little peices to reach all the areas, or should I use larger pieces? Also, do I put it over the wires on the door or try to go under/around them? Any tips would be useful.

don't stick it over the wires but right on the (painted) metal. Stick it in the middle of large areas like in the middle of the door as thats where most of the vibration is. Knock on the pannels to find the right spots to stick it. Cutting it up to be able to stick it on more areas would be a good idea.
