So this guy knows nothing about me, but yet he doesn't want me to date his daughter?

As the father of a 14 year old daughter, what he said ^ is correct. I don't run the boys away from my house or slam the door in their faces, or think my daughter is too good for them, but I do feel it is my duty to protect her from every swinging dick on this here earth!

I know how I was when I was a young teen, and if the guys that come to my door are have the teen boy I was, I don't want her to have anything to do with them.
