wat should i give the 15's then? 1000w a piece?

i had 2 audiobahn 15's i think they were aw-1571 for the model # 500rms1000 peak and the jbl 1200rms at 1 ohm.they both were sharing same power from amp.i was scared to turn it up because of the subs.so ,if you do 1000rms each it would slam super hard for any daily drivercan handle.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

They do 1000w rms & 3000 max per sub. so 2000w RMS total & I will get a 2000w @ 1ohm amp.

thats what the subs are rated at. subs dont put out power, they take it. amps put out power. just because a sub is rated for 3000 watts max doesnt mean it will out perform one that is rated at 250 watts max.

Agreed. More wattage doesn't automatically mean louder.
