How to calculate port from back of box?

bb- you didn't really answer his question

OP-that is still the port. The width needs to be uniform over the entire length for any kind of port calculation to be valid. To find the total length of the port add the length of the two legs of the L and then add the width of the port. That will account for the effective length of the port through the bend.

how? he asked how far does his port need to be from the very back wall after the bend. it cannont be any closer then the width of the port. but if it is an L shaped port, the port needs to be the same width throughout the whole port.
