He said he "knows it has 4 coils because it has 4 terminals". This is not always the case.

OP You are not going to break any windows.. don't pay any attention to MAX power... It takes ALOT of power and pressure to even crack a window.. besides you're only running around 1000wrms anyway..

This is a problem I have as well, I'm afraid of shattering my windshield and it does flex. I have 2 8" skar audio on a 1200 watt amp and I didn't think it'll hit as hard and I was blown away I don't even have my bass knob even up I barely move it and the bass moves my panels and sunroof and windshield and I'm to afraid to even go higher my wife would kill me if I shattered her windows

No need to worry. 2 skar 8s would never even come close to breaking any glass.

I'm not too sure. Because like I've said I haven't even cranked the bass knob and my windshield flexes badly. It's even causing my rearview mirror to go down and it's pretty tight

Trust me two 8s are not breaking any glass.

Mine didn't start breaking until 155+ DB. That's with an 8 12" wall and 10x the power you are running.

It takes alot to break one. I went through 4 I think. All free having full coverage insurance here.

Yeah 2 8's are not going to break any windows. I mean a rock can hit your window and break it while listening to music, that doesn't mean the bass did it. Rear view mirrors will shake pretty easily in most vehicles.

When your windshield starts moving like this you may need to worry.

In this situation, I would be concerned about my hearing!!! I like my music loud, but consistent sound loud enough to rattle windows and panels will surely impact your hearing. Something that loud requires earplugs to prevent damage. I know bragging rights are important to some , but your hearing is precious.
