Theres a trick, if you submerge the polyfill in water, then put it in the box while still wet, not dripping wet, but obviously wet to the touch, it helps out alot! I've done it quite a few times, always works.

Polyfill is a waste unless you are doing sq trying to kill some dead spots in your mids, also if you have a really small sealed box polyfill works.

Polyfill does not make your box bigger lol

Lol, another way to do it, is to actually pour a little bit of water into your box, the water absorbs the frequencys and reflects them at 90* perpendicular to the angle of propagation according to the rubidium frequency standard. Basically making your box look way bigger than it is.
