i see in videos where people hang shirts and bags over the window, and the air makes them move like crazy. bamaboy had 2 18 (?) Btls that did this. ive also seen single 10's and single/dual 12's do this. how much wattage am i looking at for this to happen? right now.. i can barely even get quaters to jump on my trunk. which is odd.. because jmanpc had roof flex, and quaters jumping off of a single 12" mach5, i have one. i also have 2 kicker comps seeing 200watts a peice. so between them 2 12's im seeing as much power as jmanpc's single maw12, but no trunk flex..

I can do the hair trick with ~1500watts. So to answer your question...YOu need precisely 1500 watts, not any less, not any more.

well i havent tested it yet with my new box and subs, i will tomorrow tho. was just wondering.. lets me know where i stand to others on here. once i get some trunk flex, ill know its getting better. ive upgraded alot in the past 2 months. went from 2 Pyle blue waves, with a P13 pyle 2channel amp, to a profile 400msx with a maw12, now a kicker kx400.1 with 2 12" kicker comps.

just an fyi every mm of flex in a panel is a loss of 10 watts of power.... thats why at bass comps you see them pushing and sitting on windows doors and hatches, it not only makes it more airtight, it deadens vibration, kinda like a super dynamat.

yeah you dont really want flex... you want as much pressure to stay in the car as possible and the car to give as little as possible to get the most SPL.
