how much watts for d2 magnums

gonna get 2 d2 magnums. how much watts should i get. what kind of amp? what kind of enclosures.
Depends on your preference.

If you are going more for a SQ application.

Make a sealed 1.5 for each with ~600-800 watts going to each.

If you are going for more of a SPL application

Make a Ported 3.0^3 ft tuned to 30 hz ~600-800 watts going to each.

Those subs deserve a nice amp so don't go stingy. Maybe a Tsunami 1800t with the gains down?

I suppose so :p Never looked at the Tsunamis but I was almost sure they did power at 1 ohm, do the smaller ones do max power at 1 ohm or am I just crazy?
