how much power rms can 2 sa12 take

can 2 sa12 handle a zx2500.1 @ 2ohms 2834 rms @14.4 I can hold 13.8 with new electrical upgrades . or will 12**rms at 4ohms be better, but wouldn't be using amp to full capability. thanks for any info and suggestions.

I would run two ohm but set the gain to around 1600. That would make a very clean signal with a lot of head room.

i have fed mine well over 1kwatts rms each without issue from 2 strapped rubicon 2500's at 2 ohms.

i was running my SA-12's at 1k each off of a SAZ-2000d. took it fine. but i wouldn't run anymore than that to them... so i'd say 1k each is what they can handle as long as you know what you're doing and set everything right

depends the enclosure and clean power. bout 1k daily is all id run per. the spl version say 1200rms no probs...

I ran mine off a kx2500 full potential from the amp dustcaps never even got warm after a full song 4 cubes tuned to 32 took it like a champ.

Oh that was just a temporary setup. Had it wired at 1 ohm plus impedance rise. I never clamped it either so not sure how much I was throwing at them but even at that, they did take much more than rated like a champ for 2 weeks. I definitely loved those subs. lol

You can run the rated 600 watts or double it and run 1200 watts, it isn't going to be twice as loud maybe about only 3db louder at twice the power, unless you are competing it is going to be that noticeable. (output does not increase in a linear fashion as amplifier power is increased).
