HI, I got 2 12" boston acoustic G5 subwoofers in a 1.2cf each 5/8 sealed box running of a kicker sx 600.2 amp wich gives them about close to 300 watts rms to each one of them. Now i can tell that they can take more power easy wich they are designed to anyhow but since ive heard that they are not power hungry i gave them a try with this smaller amp and belive it or not they get pretty loud.
My problem is that they dont get really low. Maybe i just need a different box but a ported one wouldnt really fit in my car and would be too heavy. Its an 2005 acura tl so...
Boston recommends 1cf box but i got a little more so i think that should help anyways or should i make it smaller and maybe more power ...
what do u guys think ?
