so i've been doing a little bit of research lately into redoing the speakers and adding a subwoofer to the tC. I'm going mainly for SQ in this setup. Loud is nice, but I do have ears and I want to be able to hear when i'm older //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif During my researching I came across the Alpine Type-X subwoofer. I want a 10" version. What kind of amplifier is something like this going to need to sound decent? I've read that the sub is a bit on the power hungry side, but i've accepted that. I've got around $2,000 (give or take a few hundred) to put down on an entire system including-
Head Unit
front components
rear coaxials
interior speaker amplifier
1 10" subwoofer
subwoofer amplifer
box that mounts on the side of the hatch (i want to retain some space back there).
I havent even begun to look at the inside stuff yet so if u want to throw some suggestions in there for me, go right ahead //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Also, if there's something better than the type-x that will fit into my budget, by all means im not tied down.
