How much power can a BL take?

I've got an 18" BL with the p chamfer option, I'm running a hifonics 1206D on on it, It barely moves. How much power can I safely run to this sub? I'm not stupid, I ran a type R off the hifonics for 6 months and it never smelled. The subs in 8 cubes @ 35hz. Anyway it could handle an Orion 2500D? Or is that pushing it.

The base rms rating is 1000watts and I've seen Fi claim a rating of 1600watts rms for a loaded BL. I'm pushing 1500watts into each of my loaded Bl 18s and it pushes them good but they can handle more. I don't see them having a problem with 2000+ clean rms watts.

FYI - the Brutus amps are a little over-rated. You need more power.

I have a Hifonics Bxi 1606D mono amplifier, and its rated at 1600watts RMS for 1ohms, (overrated I know) but with the gains halfway or so, how much watts RMS could/would I really be pushing about into a Fi BL 12"? Because I dont think Im satisfied with my Fi Q, and could go louder/lower.

I know the answer is obvious, but I need someone else to say it, is the Fi BL (with all options) better, louder, lower than a Fi Q in all aspects?

It depends on the RCA's voltage. No way to tell u a number off just "gain's at halfway"

I had a 15" BL fully loaded in my Expedition. It was in 4 cubes tuned to 33 hz via 2 4" Aeroports. It got smelly with 2 SAZ1500Ds at 4 ohm after about 30-60 seconds at full volume.
