How much power are people sending to Pro60s?

As the title states... just wondering.

I have a set coming in soon and am trying to pick out an amp. I know the RMS rating on the Pro60s is 125 but I've heard of people sending over 2x that much.

I've been looking at the eD NINe.2 and NINe.2x, which do 100x2 and 200x2 rms @ 4 Ohms respectively. So at 3 ohms, 150 and 250 shouldn't be an issue... both which sounds nice to me. Any thoughts?

We often put a Boston GT-28 amp on the Pro 60s , and that amp does an honest 270 w/ch RMS ..... The Pro's just LOVE the power ....

I've also heard them on head unit power , and they actually do OK .... They are very versatile ...

How would a Soundstream amp do with these speakers? The TRA960.4

OUTPUT POWER RMS @ 4 Ohms (Watts) 120 x 4

RMS @ 2 Ohms (Watts) 240 x 4

RMS Bridged @ 4 Ohms (Watts) 480 x 2

T.H.D.

Assuming your doing the SL65 in the rear?? Is this a clean amp to run to these speakers? Or is there something better for them?

I bridged them in parallel off my nuts. Depending on your handedness, if youre right handed, then your right nut is positive. My nuts are currently supplying them with 500w RMS apiece. I have a little cradle for my nuts to plug into in the drivers seat, which then sends the power to my speakers.
i'm sorry. i use my middle and left nut strapped to get about 3500 watts rms at 4 ohms. my right nut is used on my front two channels giving them about 300 per side.

I'm curious to know about this, as well. Pro60's in front and SL65's in the rears all run off this particular amp. Anyone know if this is good juice for such speakers?
