Dual 4's wired paralled to 2 ohm

I think the guy on CL said a 2ohm cause each sub is wired to 2 ohms. If they were both wired together at 1 ohms his amp would go into protect, especially if it's bridged.

Do you have each sub wired to a channel on the amp?

Nope thier both running off 1 channel.

Find a amp that is within your budget that does atleast 1500@1ohm. There are some listed in this thread already.

Then most likely your subs are wired to 4 ohms because that amp will not hold a 1 ohm load if it's bridged.
