How much louder would this be?

I currently have two audioque sdc2.5 12's in a custom ported box that i think is tuned to 35 hz. Im using a kenwood kac-7205 amp. Its only giving them 250 watts. I wana get the alpine mrp-m1000. Would this be a big difference and worth spending money on? Cuz i already get door flex but thats probly cuz the box is so big it hardly even fits in my trunk lol.

Have u tried turning the box around?? I bet it would be a night a day difference. If you wanna fire into the cabin then I would seal the trunk off. But to answer your question yes it would be worth it. Maybe even go with alil more power then the m1000..

Dual 4's wired paralled to 2 ohm

I have tried turing them facing the trunk but they are louder facing into the car. Dude i bought em from did the same.

Then toss a good 1500 on them and see what they can do. Seal the cabin from the trunk and magic things will happen

So you have no idea what your subs are wired to? Do you know for sure your subs are DVC 4 ohm? Cause the person could have written a typo and meant DVC 2 ohm if they are wired to 2 ohms, or could have written a type and meant DVC 4 ohms wired to 1 ohm.

but also from what i read on your youtube vid your going to need to upgrade from that 6awg wire to 0awg or atleast 4awg

looking at audioque web, they only come in a dual 4. so some good budget amps that i posted will work for ya
