Just got back from buying my books..

Grand total = $442.51

I am taking 16 hours.......

The most ridiculous thing is my most expensive book is my Music book..And its also my smallest book at like 250 pages..But it comes with some cd...Stupid elective..It cost $94..

lol you got off lucky, mine came to $569.23 total. My *used* economics book was $134... I am only taking 12 hours.

agree i learned my lesson the first year,600+ all new books, not to buy books til at least after the second class, because most times you wont even need them.

im taking 12 hours

so far ive only bought my calc 2 and physics books, for 2 books + the solutions manuals, I spent $140.

the rest of my books should cost under $100 total.

if u dont wait til the last minute you can find your books way cheaper.. and save hundreds

try facebook/local used cheapo bookstores first (NOT local bookstores that sell school textbooks only, they will have them barely cheaper than your school bookstore which is outrageous), and then ebay, amazon, half.com for the ones you cant find there. trust me, my first 2 semesters I was barely below 5 or 6 hundred, this semester i saved soo much money. As a last resort go to your local OFF CAMPUS textbook store, they should have textbooks used for a good chunk cheaper than your school bookstore.

I have been to all my classes twice.. I wait too..And i checked online, couldn't save much money at all..I bought mine from an Off Campus bookstore..

My Bio CD was f'n $125.....

my books were about half and half new and used.
