How much does HU rms really matter?

Im doing my build on my Integra and talking about getting my HU out has made me think about getting a new headunit.

I hate how much of a PITA components are and don't really have the electrical to support two amps. In other words, I rely heavily on HU power.

Im installing Alpine Type R Coaxials in there soon as wondering how much, if any, a headunit swap would benefit? Mainly regarding loudness just to hear over the bass without distortion.

My current HU is the one in sig.

Industry standard is around 50 watts max and you are not going to see much more than that effectively...

If you want more speaker power, add an amplifier; you will be amazed at the increase in sound quality and performance.
