How much do you tip?

assuming atleast "good" service i'll leave 25-100%, i like to be treated good and only 1 way that's gonna happen //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/imo.gif.3a57bcc70a4835dc53e86ffae1a0b041.gif

If you guys get delivery and aren't going to tip, just pick that shit up at the resturaunt. I hate ****ers like you.
who are you talking to? around here they wont give ya the food without a tip..... thats how it should be for delivery... i leave a good amount usually with delivery..... last night 5 buddys 30.xx dollar bill for delivery we have him 45 i think 15 is well enough for 3 mile drive in the country

zero. i dont tip in restraunts 90 percent of the time, i dont understand the logic behind mandatory tipping for people doing the job they were hired and paid by the hour todo. That and why not tip the guys at the coffee shop as well, police, fire fighters, paramedics, doctors (so what if they are over paid)...ect..busdrivers...there is a million jobs in the world that pay the exact same as working as a server and they dont expect or get anything for tips, i do give money to the guys who have cool "i need money because im addicted to crack " signs though.

^^ because they get paid 2.15 an hour? And live off tips.

I don't remember the last cop that had to treat someone with respect to get a tip to pay bills.

you work there once youll see how it is....its courtasy... if i knew you werent going to tip before you left i would be a complete dick and offer your horrible service... i would not care if i would get fired becuase i would only make minimum wage because people like you dont tip

Ironically, my biggest tips have usually come when the service was extremely poor. Please, allow me to explain. Sometimes the business is way shorthanded and the server is busting his/her ***. In that situation I am going to leave a large tip because: 1. its not the server's fault 2. he/she is going to have a shitty day and 3. I don't expect anyone else to tip worth a crap.

I do not tip chinese people. I figure they own the rest. and they are too cheap to hire help. I will not reward such behavior.

I only tip when I get service beyond what is to be expected ...
Restaurants

20% for excellent service

10% for good service

0% for decent/average service or worse

Other establishments

0-5% depending on cost of item(s) and quality of service

I personally hate how it's a social requirement to tip regardless of the service provided at a sit-down restaurant. I also hate how people at other types of establishments don't get tips when they provide service above and beyond what is expected from them.
That's exactly how I feel.

I don't get tipped at my job, why should I be expected to leave a tip for someone else.

Now if they do a really good job, then I will tip.
