How much do you Audio Installers make?

I am going to be takin a school in 06 to get that MECP certification and take a side job as an Audio Installer. I am really interested in getting into this field, since i do love dealing with audio. Just in curiosity, how much do u guys in average make? What kind of shops should i stay away from? What do i need to know before getting into this field? How do you like the job?

i only work on my truck, and i get annoyed by it still, i just do it to save myself money.

sometimes ill help friends with trouble shooting tho since i got a DMM. but i hate pulling vehicles apart

I'm not MECP...if I do get certified, I get a raise...I should get on that lol.

I still go to school full time as well.
