how much are noice violations in you city?

In Knoxville Tennessee, i got a Sound Amplification ticket and it was $202 dollars, and i also turned mine down a ways before i saw the cops, but they were state troopers and they gotted me:crap:

I got one for $125 with no subs 3 years ago. One of my buddies got one a couple of towns over for $600. One of my other friends had his car impounded in Chicago for his music (if you'd like to call it that). As far as I know, around here, Chicagoland/NW Indiana, they're all local ordinances so it depends on which town/city you're in when and if you get caught.

ive gottem a thumbs down once, it was loud enough the cop had someone pulled over and it turned his head, just a thumbs down, i though i was for sure caught, **** aiken county coroners office

$250 here in Huntsville, AL as far as I know. I think it's a three strike system too - not sure what the second strike is - just another fine I think it costs more, and the third strike is a steeper fine and they confiscate all your equipment.

Someone from cali chirp in.
I almost got one the other day. On a 35 mph road motorcycle cop he just went by and gave a thumbs down.

Year and half driving no tickets yet.
i could ask my neighbor, hes a cop. he said anything louder then 100dbs is considered to loud for the community. i asked him cause my truck almost got me a ticket for the exhaust being too loud.
