How loud?

Just wondering if I could get an opinion about how loud you think it might be.

I dropped it to .5ohms and it get alot louder.

I can stand outside the car about 4feet and feel hard hitting bass and it still. vibrates clothes at 8 feet .

I am going to the show on 8-9-09 and will compete but I want to know what you think about this. What should I expect? the box is 27hz 3.5 cubes Subs love the low bass cd's I play. It gets LOUD AND LOW to all tones on the cd's.

Depends on where the meter is, but probably a low 140 in the kick.

EDIT: Your vehicles resonance will play abig role in this. But 27Hz probably isn't going be as loud as you think. Sound a lot better than a loud/fart box though.

I dont have a meter so how am I suppossed to know? I asked for opinions, thank you.

I am relying on other competitors input from their experience.

It scored 135.7 last time a year ago and I have modified it since then and it is alot louder then before.

hmm...

just crunched your #'s

3.5cubes with a 13X3" port(39sq" of port) thats 26" long comes out to a tad over 30hz. to get to 27hz that port would need to be around 34.5" long.

my guess would be upper 130's to low 140's but its nearly impossiable to make that guess.
