How loud

Want Bass?
I just wanted to know typically how loud it is when you start to feel it tickle your nose, I can't get my system on the mic and just want to know where abouts I would be, my nose tickles like every 5 seconds and the bass vibrates the whole seat, it feels like a body massage. I just figured other people would have the nose thing happen to them to and could tell me at about how many decibels it starts to happen.

me = teh noobx w/ scores...but i'm guessing around a 40. thats what 2 15" pa mofo's on a 1200 w (true about 840 watts) does to mine...on the TL it was a 141.x

it jiggled my nose (slight tickle) and your back wasn't comfortably on the chair. Ears...no pain, but I have a slight tolerance. Feels really good.

but my god, put out a 40hz tone at 140db and good luck seeing straight //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

maybe i'm underestimating...but seeing straight is a task..esp while driving

not to jack the thread but is there a difference from shaking loud and a bass loud??

i was in my friend's car and there were tons of shaking and of course bass but it wasn't loud, if you know what i mean.

with my 10 there was no shaking at all but the bass is all over my ears.... whats the difference??

Frequency.

probably about mid 130s, around 140 your throat starts to tighten a little, mid 140s can be uncomfortable to ride around in, and 150 can be almost painful to the ears and back at certain freqs

My system metered at around 144.8 and high frequencys (43-50hz) will shake your nose hairs.. My friends also complain about it hurting their ears.. Guess im already passed that point //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif ... The low notes (25-35hz) shake the hell out of my seats, steering wheel, and flex my roof a good bit. You can sort of feel this type of bass in your chest.. If I open up a door you can flightly feel the bass on your jeans about 10 feet away. Thats my observations!

Thats the highest tunning i have ever seen in my ca.com history. WOW!

are you sure??? i seen people recommend that sh*t on sounddomain, if you are new to tuning like me, that is.....im still trying to learn how to tune, my thing is digital so its hard to figure whats what

so my friends car was tuned lower??
right now my 10 is tuned at 80hz
Methinks you're confusing your enclosure Fb with the setting on your low pass filter...actually tuning to 80Hz would result in extremely sloppy bass with almost *no* low frequency extension. A true one-note wonder, and wouldn't be something you'd want to listen to for any length of time.
