How loud should this be?

Much better.. But you will have to keep your nose open cause it will overpower it. Set your gain to 400 watts and it will get loud, the next thing would be changing that box.
What do the rest of you think.. Anything of the same quality as the alpine for cheaper?

Overpower is better then under.. Amp works less.. If you SET YOUR GAINS you can set them to 400 watts and it will be great. Not many good companys make 400 watt amps. Pioneer does but it blows.

Always good to have overhead, that sub can prob handle power decently too. I don't think you'll have trouble with overpowering it especially if you set the gain right.

Basically don't get too upset, noone is ever happy with their car audio. I have a setup I would have considered awesome years ago but now I just want moar haha, but in all reality I have a very nice system and everyone who rides in my car is impressed. ok guys this ***** is going on craigslist tomoro. Too bad a threw out the box for the amp came in tho. How much could i get for it? i dont even know how to unhook it lol.

Undo the negative on the battery before you do anything, then just unhook it

Make sure you cap or tape up the power cable going to the amp when nothing is hooked to it, I doupt you want to take the fuse out. That would be the "right" thing to do

just take the fuse out, on the power wire from your battery to your amp. that will take the power off the wire.

haha i actually would rather listen to it without it sub and amp. The music is louder and when the subs on it gets muffled by ****** bass.
