Is there some theoretical maximum? Or will we hit 200 in another 15 years?

Also what would happen to a human body in a car at 181dB? Would they explode or something? Rupture organs?

180 i know is supposed to be like standing behind the engine of a Jet plane at idle, so take out the heat part and your dealing with some pretty substantial pressure.

idk, i dont think 180 would rip to to shreads but it would be quite a bit of pressure, there has to be a video out there of a 180+ comp with someone sitting in it.

You can relate them, but SPL levels are time variant while a PSI reading is not.
