how long does battery last......

I was wondering how long can the battery last if my audio system is on while the car is in the ON mode (not engine running)? I have an 07 lexus with factory battery. The negative is upgraded to 4 gauge. My amp is 800 watts rms with 90 amp fuse connected to 4 gauge wire from battery. The sub is a 10" L7. The factory system comes with a 200 watt amp.

hard to say how long it will last, like how loud will you have it, how effecient the amp etc.

i generally dont go more than 30mins myself with any moderate volume, as in turning on the stereo opening windows and doing things outside for a while. You can definately go longer than that but why risk it?

I wouldnt leave it on long with a factory battery up there. They aren't designed to be deep cycled if you leave it on too long. I would go 20min at the most, then you run the risk of ruining things.

lol very dependant as the music you play is as different using power as even the volume knob. unless you listen to test tones nothing in music will be constant

i dont listen to music at all if the car is off
