KiloWatt
The XBL Reapers
I took my subs out of my car and am using them on my home theater amp (had an additional channel for subwoofer). I wired them in series, and now I want to spread them out quite a bit (20-30 feet). But I am wondering if this could possibly hurt my subwoofers with a jumper wire so long. It could be harmless, but I needed to be sure (example: I have heard that if a grounding wire on an amp is too long, it will cause damage). Any info on this would be outstanding.
Also, if anyone has a guide to subwoofer placement in home theaters, that would also be cool. I am using the Dolby guidelines for the loudspeakers, but they don't go in depth enough with subwoofer. I know subwoofer placement makes huge differences, like in a car, with the subs facing to the front or back makes wonders of differences.
