How is Mach 5?!?

Considering that Snoop put 10kW on a single spl-12 and the sub still works to this day, I'd say that the product is pretty good.

I have one mach5spl , i drive long distances alot, and after an hour or 2 it starts to get smelly, but thats about the only negative thing i have to say about it, that and the terminals on the subwoofer are kinda wierd to work with... but then again what other subwoofer wont get smelly with 1000+ rms after an hour or 2? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

if that coil gets stinky you must be being very mean to it. there is a ton of copper in that coil.

that doesnt sound right but what ever

Mach5 doesnt really make a profit on there products they just make them as affordable as possible for the consumer, what isnt to love about that

Mark is one of the coolest guys ive ever dealt with and makes an awesome product. Whoever said there spl gets stinky with 1k of power something has to be wrong, I am powering mine with my orion 2500d's and they seem like they could take more but dont need it. They also sound pretty good for being a spl sub.

Loved my 2 Maw 15s... Couldn't beat the sound for the price. Not to mention denim (ssa) and Mark (M5) are great to work with. If there is a problem, it WILL be fixed.

I believe my next sub will actually be the IXL 12... Just to good of a price for a 1000 watt woofer...

I own an MJ18 and couldnt ask for a better sub for ~100 bucks. It makes me want to try the "higher end" subs.(and will when I get money) I'm sure they wouldnt disappoint!
